Power Sector

“Sustainable Economic growth and industrialization can only be achieved through adequately constant and reliable power supply “

Nigeria currently has a generation capacity of 13,700MW and distributes just over 3,500 MW to the end-users, estimated to second largest deficit in access of Electricity in the world. Perennial problems in power supply include gas supply shortages, limited distribution networks, limited transmission capacity, electricity theft, large metering deficit and high technical and commercial losses. Nigeria’s power deficit presents huge challenges however we at City Capital see the huge opportunity.

We are motivated by the challenges in creating financing solutions to the sector close the gap thereby improving productivity and reducing the health challenge for generator usage
